Lilburn, GA - President and CEO, Mike Roe, has a passion for film and video and wants to help people to be more educated and empowered in order to make intelligent decisions in the ever changing world of video. "The video industry has made some great strides in technology over the past 5 years and it is changing so fast that it is hard to keep up", states Mike Roe. "By the time someone has figured it out, it changes". Mike has recently been teaching video to a local home school community. Home schooling is where parents pull their child from the public school system and teach their children from home. Groups have formed, like LAC Homeschool, to help home schoolers get intruction from knowledgable and willing individuals that are experts in their field. This allows them to get out of the house, interact with students their own age, and learn pratical real-world instruction. Mike teaches a 90 minute weekly digital video class that runs from January until May 2008. "Teaching is so rewarding. To see the joy in a students face when they figure it out is priceless. I can see why so many people choose teaching as their profession."
